Laborer General

Job Description

Perform tasks involving physical labor at highway construction projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials. May assist other workers. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
