Job Description

This Accounts Receivable Coordinator role is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services including processing and monitoring of plant receivables, invoicing, credit line management, GL transaction processing, lien paperwork processing, and various other accounting department tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for learning all aspects of cash receipts, researching, and contacting agents with discrepancies.
2. Answers questions from plant customers regarding balances & work with them to get issues resolved.
3. Review customer invoice/statement differences and resolve in a timely manner
4. Works with plant sales representatives on pricing and customer requests
5. Runs credit reports on new sales customers
6. Completes lien & notice of non-payment forms
7. Cross-trained in accounting functions to help fill-in covering vacations, illness, or any other absence.

Job Requirements
  1. High school diploma or GED along with related/equivalent experience or Associates Degree required.
  2. Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures. This includes banking and cash management.
  3. Knowledge of State of Florida lien laws a plus
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet aggressive deadlines.
  5. Great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  6. Computer skills including the ability to operate accounting systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  7. Experience with SAGE fixed assets software a plus
  8. Lien law experience also a plus
